Feeling stupid

Today I was enlighted that the Moon is spinning. I felt so bad that I thought it doesn't. I mean, I know it has an orbit but I couldn't realize that it spins since it always faces the Earth with the same side. And I know moon phases and such but somehow this didn't sink in! With all my SF interests, not remembering this fact makes me feel really, really stupid. (Except all the other times when I behaved like an idiot )

Anyways, my bf demonstrated me how this works and I understand this but in the same time, my brain has a huge problem to comprehend and visualize that. Like accounting...
